Cookies are small notes a website keeps on your phone or computer. This website mostly uses a similar kind of note, called local storage. The law treats both the same way, so this page calls them all cookies, and lists every one: its name, what it does, and how long it stays.
Cookies the website needs
These make the website work. They are always on, they stay on your device, and they tell Gillian nothing about you.

Cookies used only if you choose "Allow all"
These let Gillian see which pages help people, and who sent a visitor to her, without knowing who anyone is.

If you choose "Essential only", or change your choice later, these are not used, and any already on your device are removed.
Other websites
- Paying. You pay on Stripe's own website, which uses Stripe's cookies to keep payments safe. See stripe.com/cookie-settings.
- Videos. Videos play from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube keeps nothing on your device until you press play. After that, YouTube's own rules apply.
- Links. Amazon, TikTok, YouTube and Facebook use their own cookies when you visit them.
How to change your choice
Use the button at the top of this page, or "Cookie choices" at the foot of every page. You can also clear cookies and local storage in your browser's settings at any time.
