Terms of sale

These terms apply when you buy from this website. Please read them before you pay. They do not take away any of your legal rights.

Who you are buying from

Prices and paying

  • Prices are in pounds sterling (£). Gillian is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added.
  • Postage, if there is any, is shown before you pay.
  • You pay on Stripe's secure page, by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or the other ways it shows. Your card details go to Stripe, never to Gillian.
  • Your order is accepted when your payment goes through. You see a thank-you page, and Stripe emails you a receipt.
  • If a price on the website is clearly a mistake, Gillian will tell you, and you can cancel for a full refund.
  • Discount codes: one per order. A code has no cash value, and may end at any time.

Downloads: audio books and e-books

Your download is ready straight away, on the thank-you page. Keep that page's address: it is your way back to your download.

At checkout, you ask for your download straight away, and agree that you then lose your 14-day right to cancel. If a download is faulty, or not as described, tell Gillian and she will put it right or refund you.

The online course

  • After you pay, go to Course sign-in and use the email address you paid with. Your course opens straight away.
  • Your place is for you alone. Please do not share your sign-in, or copy or share the films, recordings or written course.
  • You keep your place for as long as Gillian offers the course. If she ever stops offering it, she will tell members at least 30 days before.
  • Because the course opens straight away, you ask for it at checkout, and agree that you lose your 14-day right to cancel once your place is open. If something is wrong with the course, tell Gillian and she will put it right or refund you.
  • Gillian may close a place that is shared or misused.

Sessions

  • After you book, Gillian emails you within 2 working days to arrange a time that suits you, wherever you are in the world.
  • Sessions are by live video call, or remote healing at a distance.
  • Sessions are for adults aged 18 or over.
  • To move a session, tell Gillian at least 48 hours before it.
  • If you miss a session, or cancel with less than 48 hours' notice, the session counts as used.
  • If Gillian has to move a session, she will offer you a new time, or a full refund.
  • Bespoke packages: the deposit you pay comes off the full price, which Gillian agrees with you before any more is paid.

Your right to cancel a session

You can cancel within 14 days of paying, for a full refund, if your session has not happened yet. If you ask for your session to happen within those 14 days and then cancel, you pay only for what has been given. Once your session has happened in full, the right to cancel ends.

Things Gillian posts to you

  • Gillian posts to UK addresses only.
  • She posts orders as soon as she can. Your order will arrive within 30 days, unless she tells you otherwise.
  • You can change your mind within 14 days of receiving your order. Tell Gillian, then send it back within 14 more days. She refunds you, including the standard postage you paid, within 14 days of getting it back. You pay to send it back, unless it was faulty or wrong.
  • If something arrives damaged, faulty or wrong, tell Gillian and she will replace it or refund you.

How to cancel, or ask for a refund

Email gillian431@hotmail.com with your name, what you bought and when. You can use the model cancellation form, but you do not have to. Refunds go back the way you paid, within 14 days.

Wellbeing

Gillian's sessions, courses and recordings are spiritual and complementary. Please read the wellbeing note before you book.

If something goes wrong

Gillian is responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of her breaking these terms, or of her not using reasonable care. She is not responsible for loss that could not be foreseen. Nothing in these terms limits her responsibility where the law does not allow it, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Complaints

Please email Gillian first. She will reply as soon as she can, and within 14 days.

The law

These terms are under the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your own courts. If you live outside the UK, you may also have rights under the law where you live.
